Steps and Registration Process For Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) And The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Credentialing Examination

1.0 Registration in Official Website

First step is to register in Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) And The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) official website to get your unique registration number. ARDMS (http://www.ardms.org/) or CCI (http://www.cci-online.org/). This registration is free.

2.0 Original Transcipt

Get your original diploma or bachelor degree or master degree transcript from your former college or university and make sure it’s in English translation. If it’s not in English translation, send the original transcript to recognized translation institute such as Institut Terjemahan Dan Buku Malaysia  (http://www.itnm.com.my/services/translation).

2.1 ITBM Translation Services

Friday: From 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (break 12.30 pm to 2.45 pm).

The need for translation services certification (academic and professional qualification certificates, passports, official government letter, birth certificate, etc.):

If you come alone, customers must bring the original document along with photocopies of clear material and certified by a government officer or statutory body or Penghulu / Ketua Kampung / JKKK / Principal / Headmaster / Commissioner for Oaths or a certified endorsement by the Department of Public Service. If the transactions are done via e-mail, the customer must send (scan / scan ) with a copy of the original document certified by the parties listed in (1) above. The written certification required if details are unclear in the original material or please submit a copy of the reference documents such as identity cards, passports and so on in accordance with the requirements of translation. The time it takes to translate a certificate is a minimum of three (3) working days. However, this period depends on the number of pages, the source language, the target language and document types.

For substances other than a translation of the certificate, the time it takes depends on the number of pages, the (technical, legal, scientific, public and so on), the source language, the target language and document types.

2.1.3 Payment Rate

ITBM handle each project in accordance with the requirements. Thus, the pay rates vary depending on the following factors:

The source language and the target language.

The number of words.

Type of text: general or specialized (technical).

Deadlines: Regular or immediately.

Any other requirements.

The material to be translated can be submitted by mail, fax or e-mail.

All transactions for these services are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).

2.1.4 Payment Of Services

Payment can be made by cash, credit card, check, money order, bank draft, cash and deposits. If payment is made by check, money order, bank draft, payment shall be made in the name of "Institute of Translation and Books Malaysia Berhad". Translation will be made only after the payment is made in full.  All payments can be made in the name of " Institute of Translation and Books Malaysia Berhad"  in the account number  Maybank Berhad 512 204 217 381.

For transactions made through e-mail, the customer must send (scan / scan ) via e-mail proof of payment.

Note: Additional charge for translation services immediately charged with additional cost increases between 25 percent - 50 percent, based on the application, discussion and approval ITBM  (this service does not include Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). 3.0 Certified True Copy By Notary Public Services

Prepare all transcripts to get certified true copy of the attestation from the representatives of the Notary Public http://www.notarypublicmalaysia.com/ nearby. Cost RM 20 for Certified True Copy/page and added another RM 20/page for Notary Public Sealed Stamp.

4.0 Education Evaluation By Agencies In The United States Of America

  

The certified true copy documents must be sent to one of the educational evaluation agency in the United States of America. It will evaluate the level of education that equivalent to the USA standard. For example http://ies.aacrao.org/ and http://transcriptresearch.com/pages/apply. Make sure that you apply for a course by course evaluation. This evaluation will take about 3-4 weeks. Cost is USD 185.

5.0 Complete Online Registration Form

After the evaluated educational transcript is obtained, the examination application form can be completed online at the CCI and ARDMS official website.

6.0 Prepare The Documents.

6.1 Educational Transcript evaluation.

6.2 Employment verification letter from The Head Department of Cardiology Or Echo cardiologist or Actively Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.

7.0 Ultrasound CME Physics Requirement

For those who wants to take ARDMS Sonography Physics And Instrumentation Exam, 12 CME credit for ultrasound physics can be obtained from various sources (http://www.ardms.org/). Estimated cost USD 50. For the CCI, CME Physic is not required.

8.0 Exam Preparation

The process takes about 3-4 months to complete. Preparation for taking the examination should be made, especially the physics of ultrasound, 4-6 months is needed for preparation according to the commitment and determination. Recommended to spend at least 2 hours of reading and reviewing daily.

9.0 After you complete the preparation of the required documents. Online application form that you have filled must be attached with the evaluated educational transcript, employment verification letter from the employer, and the exam fee receipt (pay online when filling in the application form). CCI registry level costs USD 365 while CCI certificate level costs USD 175. For ARDMS (physics and adult echo) it will cost USD 450. Documents in hard copy  must be sent by mail to ARDMS or CCI. They will confirm your application within 3 weeks.

New CCI Exam Registration Pathways

10.0 Once you obtained the examination confirmation letter, candidate must choose specific test center and specific available date. Exam must be taken within 3 months from the date of comfirmation letter. Test center confirmation fee must be paid to make a booking and its only apply for ARDMS. It costs USD 200 for 2 papers. The nearest test center is Pearson Vue in Kuala Lumpur (For candidate from Malaysia).

11.0 The Day Of Examination

Admission Policy

Please arrive at the test center 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow you enough time to complete the check-in procedures before beginning your exam. You will be required to show two (2) valid forms of personal identification. Both forms must contain your signature, must be current (not expired), and at least one form must contain your photo.

Please note: The first and last name on your personal identification must match the candidate name Pearson Vue has on record. If the candidate name on record is not correct, please contact CCI prior to scheduling your exam so your record may be updated.

If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your appointment time and are refused admission, the exam and delivery fees are not refundable.

You will not be allowed to take any personal items with you into the testing room. This includes all bags, books not authorized by the testing program, notes, cell phones, pagers, watches and wallets.

12.0 Exam Result

You will get your examination result immediately after you complete answering all the questions provided
