The
CCI Board is deeply concerned for your well-being while working under extremely
stressful circumstances during this COVID-19 crisis. As healthcare
professionals, we know you are at the forefront working tirelessly to serve
your patients and keep yourself safe and healthy. As the coronavirus (COVID-19)
continues to impact many communities, we are closely monitoring the rapidly
changing situation based on the advice provided by the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the
professional societies and associations in our profession (click here for those
updates). Our most supportive thoughts are with anyone who has been directly
impacted by the coronavirus/COVID-19 disease.

would like to share a few updates from CCI that may affect you:
CCI
Headquarters Operations
CCI
staff is maintaining limited personnel in our headquarter office, practicing
social distancing, to process mail and deliveries. Other staff are working
remotely and continue with business as usual.
Credential
Renewals
CCI
has been carefully monitoring COVID-19 and its impact on many major conferences
and educational events. We understand you may find it challenging to complete
your required CEU activities. We will continue to share online CEU
opportunities with you via email and our Facebook page. If you have any
questions regarding your credential renewal, please click here to email CCI

COVID-19
Updates for CCI Exam Candidates
CCI’s
testing administrator, Pearson VUE has temporarily closed their U.S. and
Canada-based Pearson Professional Centers (PPCs) until April 16, or whenever
conditions are deemed safe to re-open. Test centers in other countries have
also been impacted, stay updated here.
Examination
Applications
CCI
is accepting the submission of new examination applications and is reviewing
current examination applications. Authorization to test notifications will not
be sent out until Pearson VUE centers re-open.
Face-to-Face
Events
CCI
has cancelled all face-to-face meetings for Exam Committees through the end of
April. Subject matter experts will meet virtually when deemed necessary.
The
Cardiovascular Educators’ Forum planned for May 1-2 has been cancelled. The
2021 Forum will be April 16-17, 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The applications
will be available in the fall.
